Working Principle
1. Principle
(1) Water exists in three forms: solid, liquid, and vapor. In the humidification industry, it is trying to use external energy to convert liquid water into vapor water, and then send it to the space that needs to be humidified by external force.
(2) Water does not conduct electricity when it exists in pure water form. The reason why tap water in daily use can conduct electricity is because there are a lot of mineral salts in the water. The working principle of the electrode steam humidifier is to use the conductivity of water.
(3) When the water with mineral salts enters the humidification barrel through the water inlet valve, the electrode sheet on the upper part of the humidification barrel will be immersed in the water as the water level gradually rises. Since the water with mineral salts is a conductor, when the water and the electrodes The contact of the plates will form a path. At this time, we apply a voltage to the electrode plates, and the ions in the water will move at high speed to generate heat energy, so that the water will heat up and generate clean saturated steam, which will then be sent to the air conditioning box or air duct through the steam diffusion device. , so as to achieve the purpose of humidifying the air.
(4) According to the Joule effect, the steam production is proportional to the current, and then proportional to the water level. This current is measured by the current transformer, and the water level is adjusted through the cycle of the water inlet valve and the drain valve. Current and steam production are precisely adjusted.
(5) The water level will drop when evaporating, but the steam cannot take away the mineral salts in the water, so the concentration of mineral salts in the water will increase, so the conductivity will also increase. Once the current reaches the upper limit set by the microprocessor control, The drain valve will discharge high-concentration water, and then replenish new water through the water inlet valve to achieve the purpose of dilution, thereby protecting the humidification barrel. The scale generated by long-term operation will adhere to the electrode plate, which will block the contact between the electrode plate and the ions in the water, thus affecting the humidification capacity, so the humidification barrel should be cleaned and replaced regularly.
