High-pressure micro-mist humidification system

Humidify and cool.
High humidification output.
The humidifier unit itself consumes very little power.
It is not easy to control precisely, and the commonly used lifting method is segmented control.
Isoenthalpic humidification requires preheating the air.

If the relative humidity of the air is too low, the adhesion of the paint will decrease. On the other hand, if the relative humidity is too high, the glaze layer sprayed onto the product may become excessively diluted, forming tiny liquid bubbles. As these bubbles evaporate during drying, they can lead to poor spraying results and the formation of fine pits on the sprayed surface.

Product Description

If the relative humidity of the air is too low, the adhesion of the paint will deteriorate. On the other hand, if the relative humidity is too high, the glaze layer sprayed onto the product may become excessively diluted, forming tiny liquid bubbles. As these bubbles evaporate during the drying process, they can lead to poor spraying results and the formation of fine pits on the sprayed surface. We must listen carefully to and thoroughly understand our customers’ needs, then meet those needs and even exceed their expectations—this is “Ren.” We strive relentlessly to maintain the highest product quality and continuously introduce innovative new products, creating greater value for our customers, becoming the most innovative enterprise, and earning widespread acclaim as a supplier in the markets we serve—this is “Jie.”

Working principle

The softened and purified water is pressurized to between 5 and 7 MPa by a high-pressure plunger pump and then conveyed through high-pressure pipelines to specially designed micro-mist nozzles, where it is sprayed out in the form of an ultra-fine mist with an average droplet diameter ranging from 3 to 60 µm. This dramatically increases the surface area in contact with air by hundreds of times, enabling the mist droplets to rapidly and easily absorb heat from the surrounding air and vaporize. Through this process of thermohygrometric exchange, the system achieves both cooling and humidification effects.

Product Features

1. Water-mist humidification, also known as isenthalpic humidification, can both increase humidity and lower temperature.

2. Equipped with AIR WASHING (air washing) function.

(1) In recent years, as the linewidths used in electronic circuit manufacturing have continued to shrink, reaching nanometer-scale dimensions, and due to the extremely high density of factory sites in certain regions, which has led to cross-contamination of exhaust gases among different plants, concerns about process-related environmental pollution have shifted from traditional particulate and solid pollutants to gaseous molecular contaminants (AMCs), such as SOx, NOx, CO, NH₃, HCl, and other organic pollutants.

(2) Granular solid pollutants, when combined with water mist, become heavier and settle down, thereby achieving a dust-removal effect.

(3) For gaseous molecular pollutants, water not only serves as an excellent absorbent but also acts as a solvent. When gaseous molecular pollutants come into contact with water mist, they dissolve in the water, thereby achieving the effect of air purification.

3. Energy saving:

(1) The humidifier unit itself consumes low power.

(2) High humidification output.

(3) The pump station of a single micro-mist humidification system can deliver a flow rate of approximately 2160 kg/hr and allows continuous adjustment. Within the specified flow range, the number of nozzles can be configured arbitrarily.

(4) Reliable and secure.

(5) The core components feature high-quality plunger pumps and parts, enabling 24-hour continuous operation. The electrical control system includes multiple protective functions, such as water shortage protection and motor burnout prevention.

(6) Hygiene.

(7) The system uses sealed, non-circulating, purified water, so it will not lead to bacterial growth.

Considerations and Scope of Application

(1) Locations with tight power supply, high heating demands, no adequate compressed air source, and low requirements for humidity control accuracy.

(2) For indoor hot workshops where the air conditioning ventilation system cannot meet the humidification requirements, a high-pressure micro-mist humidification system can be used directly for humidification.

(3) Textile workshops, painting workshops, electronics workshops, and other facilities that require air dust removal and air washing.

(4) Cooling and humidifying in landscape and agricultural settings, including livestock raising, crop cultivation, and plant breeding.

According to the application environment, there are two types: direct humidification and indirect humidification (used in combination with air handling units and ductwork).

1, R JW 1 ~4 For indirect humidification models, used in combination with air handling units; control methods include on/off control and stepwise proportional control.

Note: Segmented proportional control involves dividing the number of nozzles into several groups, with each group controlled by a single on-off solenoid valve. By opening the appropriate number of solenoid valves based on the magnitude of the signal, segmented proportional control is achieved.

2, R JW A ~D For direct-space humidification models, humidification is carried out directly in the space that requires it. Control methods include switch control and timer control.

As needed, all models—whether for indirect humidification or space humidification—can adopt a one-to-many humidification configuration.

Installation Instructions

1, Indirect humidification via air handling units and ducts

The nozzles are evenly arranged within the humidification section of the air handling unit and ductwork. Using a fan, moist air is delivered into the room. It is necessary to install water baffles and drip trays, which also serve to promote secondary vaporization and further humidification.

2, Direct humidification of the space

In factory buildings requiring humidification, high-pressure pipelines should be directly laid out, and nozzles should be evenly distributed throughout the humidification area for direct humidification. To prevent dripping, high-quality high-pressure drain valves must be used.

Water supply

The water quality specifications are as follows:

Water quality: It’s best to use pure water or deionized water to minimize maintenance requirements.

Water pressure: 2-6 Bar

Temperature: 4–40℃

The micro-mist system comes equipped with a simple filter connected to the water tank via a flexible hose, and includes a 500mm-long water supply tube with a 1/2" male thread fitting for connecting to the water supply piping. Additionally, the water supply piping should be fitted with a manual ball valve, which can be used to shut off the water supply during humidifier maintenance.

Drainage

The micro-mist system does not require drainage during operation. Drainage is typically performed only during maintenance or when cleaning the water tank.

Regular maintenance and servicing

Important matters:

After the micro-mist system has been running for 50 hours, the oil must be changed; thereafter, change the oil every 200 to 500 hours. The recommended oil grade is No. 40.

Maintain or replace the nozzle promptly as needed.

Recommended spare parts (consumables)

1. Water filter cartridge

2. Nozzle

3. Motor oil
